Christmas Tree Recycle

Queenscourt’s Christmas Tree Collection & Recycling Service – please register your tree before 23:59 on 10th January, 2022. Enjoy a hassle-free start to the New Year by letting Queenscourt Hospice collect your real Christmas tree. Simply make an online donation via the link below to register your real tree and our amazing team of volunteers will collect your tree from outside your property between 14th-16th January, 2022. This environmentally-friendly service is a great way for your real tree to be made into wood chip that will then be used back in our community.

Registration opens on Monday 15th November, but if you would like to let us know you’re interested please email fundraising@queenscourt.org.uk and we can send you a festive reminder!

Registration closes on Monday 10th January, 2022 to allow us time to plan our routes.

Your donation can help us continue providing compassionate care for people across West Lancashire, Southport and Formby, in the following ways:

• £10 could help us provide healthy and delicious meals for our patients
• £25 could pay for a special microbial (anti-bacterial) curtain around a patient’s bed
• £50 could help us purchase books for our family bereavement support services
• £100 could help fund our community services for patients at home

This is a wonderful and simple way to have your Christmas tree collected and recycled, whilst giving an extra gift to your local hospice with your kind donation.

Our 2020/21 Christmas Tree Collection raised over £20,000, providing much needed funds for our hospice. The need for our specialist compassionate care consistently grows, but the pandemic has resulted in a significant loss of income. As a small local charity with a big reach, this has hit us hard.

By using our annual Christmas Tree Collection Service, you are raising vital funds for our charity, and your support is helping to Keep Queenscourt in Service.

Our collection relies on a team of wonderful volunteers and we’d love to hear from you if you can help us this year. If you have access to a van we are in particular need of your help!

• It’s a simple but hands on role, following routes and bringing trees back to a local drop-off site.
